Community Service at its best

The boys shown above volunteered part of their Saturday morning to help the Chamber of Commerce with the Christmas trees and lights around the square on November 21.

Webelos Hike

The Webelos took a hike on November 7 at Sam Parr State Park,

walking approximately 4 miles. Shown are Ethan, Mitchell, Chase, Austin

and in the back row, Cameron (Wolf), Benjamin, Noah and Christian.

Thank you

The following was an email I received on Monday, November 23, thanking the Webelos and any siblings and parents that helped with the Christmas lights on the square on Saturday, November 21. Scott and I also thank you for your dedication to the boys and for allowing them to participate in these meaningful activities.

Please share my huge THANK YOU with all that helped with the lighting of the flower pots. This is an often overlooked detail and with the great group of kids and parents the project is easily completed. I'm sorry I was not able to be there this year to help or even take a photo.

Popcorn Awards Night

The awards for popcorn sales will be revealed and prizes distributed on Thursday, December 17. There are approximatley 10 boys who will be throwing a pie at Scott, watch for photos of the event. Also, we will have about 5 pies to be auctioned off at the event for throwing at Scott.

The boys are shown with the top prize for this years popcorn fundraiser, which was donated by Pacific Cycle in Olney.
