CUMBERLAND COUNTY SPORTSMAN CLUB
PACK 47 SUPER FAMILY CAMP WEEKEND
SEPTEMBER 18th -20th
Come join in cub scout fun at the Cumberland County Sportsman Club north
of Greenup, Il for a weekend of camping and comradery. This years roundup
feature is MY BEST FRIEND IS A SCOUT. What better way than to start
off the school year by making friends with other packs.
Packs will need to provide their own camping gear, tents, fishing poles, and
food. MEALS WILL NOT BE SERVED. If you like fishing, hiking, sports,
and crafts come join us. The cost is $20 per scout to help cover patch, craft,
and activity costs. Each scout that comes will receive a patch. Families are
encouraged to take part in all the activities.
Please return registration form by September 7th. Check in will start at 3 pm
on Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday. Friday evening is activities on your own.
There will be a fire bowl on Saturday evening with each pack asked to
perform a skit or song. Closing ceremony will be at 9:00 a.m. Sunday
morning. If you don’t want to camp, please come down and join the fun for
the day on Saturday.
The Sportsman Club is located north of Greenup off of Highway 130. Turn
onto County Road 1825E from 130. At the stop sign turn left onto 850N.
Take the first right onto 1850E and follow the road past the Sportsman
Clubhouse. Follow the curve to the right.
